crafts by merle's wooden votive holders
If only I’d come across Crafts by Merle before I got married! The natural votive holders, in birch and almond wood, would light up an outdoor or crafty wedding so beautifully. But all isn’t lost - I think they’d look sublime in a fireplace or table setting, too…(Sets from $20)

fashion ninja's transforming eclipse top
Fashion Ninja! I want to be a FASHION NINJA! Especially if it involves a fabulous 6-way transformer top. I often see those dresses you can wear 28,000 ways but end up thinking 27,999 of the styles look ridiculous. Fashion Ninja’s svelte Eclipse top ($48) keeps it simple, but with lots of style.

art is in the arctic's painted stones
Ooh…stones painted to look like sea urchins! Still natural, but hand-adorned by artist Amy Komar, you can touch them with abandon and they won’t crunch and disintegrate. So pretty. ($18 - $150)

studio snowpuppe's origami lamps
Back from a little vacation, feeling rested, I wanted to start off with a bang. Studio Snowpuppe’s Origami Lampshades are the real deal - the style oft-replicated in design shops, but mass-produced and plastic. Take home the handmade version, it packs flat (origami!) and will immediately transform your space. I think Noguchi would approve. (From $49).
